Now A Georgia Family

We arrived in Georgia on Sunday and are starting to feel somewhat settled in our temporary living conditions. We are living with Britt's brother and his family...partly in their guest bedroom and partly in their 32ft camper. We sleep in the camper, spend part of the morning there and then move into the house for the rest of the day.

It is an adventure...or that is what we keep telling the kids. We are very thankful to Jeff and Jeanie for letting us stay with them, but can't wait to be settled again. We hope to have a contract on the house the beginning of the week and moved in mid-June. Britt is getting up to speed on his new job and Keri is starting to find her way around. We have been spending a lot of time outside when it isn't raining. Maddox is really making strides; understanding more each day, looking to Britt and I when he is hurt or wants something, and interacting more and more. Yesterday, Emma and Geneva were chasing him and he would turn around and chase them. Britt commented that "it is nice to see him being part of the tribe."

  1. You guys are on one heck of a ride!!! In what area is the house you're looking at? Is it killing Britt to be in GA territory? ;)
