I think they call it post adoption exhaustion...Britt and I definitely have it. Or maybe it has something to do with 6 people sleeping in close quarters...what did they used to do in one-room houses? Maddox has decided he doesn't like going to bed at night or sleeping for more than 2-3 hours at a time without waking up (and this isn't a quiet thing). So, in order to keep the other 3 sleeping, Britt and I are learning new and creative ways of dealing with Maddox's sleeping issues. However, it is tiring. We are hoping this is just a short phase and then he'll be back to sleeping again.
Otherswise, we have been finding things to do out and about. The other day we went to a really neat park in Alpharetta (Maddox got his first ride in a swing and the other 3 loved all the challenging stuff to do). We are spending a lot of time outside. We load the bikes in the car and head to different parking lots without cars to bike ride. Next week all the pools will be open, so we hope to find one to try.
As for our house...we are making progress. We are still hoping to close on June 15th.
