Waiting....and playing!

We have now been back from Russia for 3+ weeks. We are currently waiting for our court hearing date. When we get that date we'll start planning our next trip. In the meantime, we are bouncing between the cold and warm weather that charaterizes Kansas in the early spring. The kids got out on their bikes last week when it was in the 60s and 70s before it fell back into the 30s and 40s. Today it is warming up into the 50s, so the kids will be back on their bikes.

Emma got a "bigger" bike this spring and has been a real trooper learning to ride it. She says she isn't going to let the bike beat her...where did she get that from? hummmmm...

Geneva got a "bigger" bike too (Emma's old one) and took her first real crash on it. I think she screamed more while we were cleaning her wounds than when she actually crashed. She also got a new helmet with flames on the side. She said she picked that one because it will help her go super fast.

Jackson, not wanting to be left behind, started peddling his trike last week too. One minute he was right beside me and the next minute he was 30 feet away peddling like he'd always been doing it. Also, his new favorite thing is to be batman...I don't really know where he gets these ideas...boy brain I guess. So, I dug out a pajama top that my cousin gave me that looks like the batman costume. He wants to where it all the time. He runs around yelling, "da na na na na na BATMAN!" We have taken to calling him "Jack-man."

Oh, life with 3 little ones...it is awesome.
